Pizza Dough is Versatile
Did you know our shops make and sell 250,000 balls of fresh pizza dough annually?
It’s available in our coolers everyday (it’s a top seller on Fridays!) and while we love to use it to make DIY pizzas at home, it’s extremely versatile and can be used in many delicious ways!
Here are a few creative ways to use our fresh pizza dough:
- Make our Speedy Cinnamon Rolls recipe! By using our fresh pizza dough you can skip the long task of proofing dough and get to cooking delicious cinnamon rolls more quickly.
Breadsticks
- Move over Olive Garden - try your hand at Italian-style thin, crispy breadsticks. Roll pieces of the pizza dough into long, skinny sticks and brush with a light coating of olive oil and shower with grated cheese or sea salt. Bake on a parchment lined baking sheet at 400F for about 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Use our Piadina recipe to make this delicious Italian flatbread sandwich! Simply made with pizza dough on the stove-top or flat top and then filled with delicious fillings like prosciutto, arugula and mozzarella cheese.
Garlic Bread Bites
- Cut and roll the dough into small balls, about the size of a small egg. Place them in lightly oiled muffin tins and brush with a bit of olive oil. Top each with a sprinkle of garlic salt and dried oregano and bake at 400F for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
