
Quick and Easy – Mozzarella Caprese Dip
This recipe is reminiscent of a pizza but without the crust. Mix it up and add your own favourite toppings, but don’t forget the Mozzarella!
Ingredients
1 pint grape tomatoes, cut into halves

2 cloves garlic, minced
|
1 tsp | 5 mL olive oil
|
pinch sea salt
|
1 ball | 340 g Tre Stelle® Mozzarella Cheese, cut into 1/2” cubes
|
6 large basil leaves, stems removed and torn into pieces
|
2 tbsp | 30 mL Tre Stelle® Grated Parmesan Cheese
|

Method

Preheat oven to 375ºF (190ºC).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

In a medium bowl, stir together tomatoes, garlic, olive oil and salt. Place on baking sheet; cook for approximately 15 minutes, or until tomatoes begin to blister. Remove from oven.

Place roasted tomatoes into a heat-proof serving dish; top with Mozzarella Cheese cubes, basil and sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese.

Bake for 20 – 25 minutes; or until top is golden and bubbly. Serve with toasted baguette slices.
