Pesto, Mozzarella Pizza

An easy, age-old recipe, adaptable to your family’s particular tastes. Pizza made at home and eaten straight out of the oven is a treat your kids will love helping you make.

1. Roll out the pizza dough and stretch over a table corner to create a circle.
2. Dollop 6 tablespoons pesto in pizza dough middle, spread in a circular motion with a spoon to cover the whole dough.
3. Slice mozzarella in 1/2 inch thickness, spread evenly over the pizza.
4. Add sliced tomatoes according to taste.
5. Put on a metal pizza tray or baking tray with a layer of parchment paper.
6. Bake in pre-heated oven at 550 F for ten minutes, or as hot as your oven will safely go. (Many pizza recipes recommend baking at 450 F, but real pizza ovens get to 800 F and over, so the hotter the better, just cook for a shorter time).
