Quick & Easy – Porchetta
This classic Italian dish comes from the pork belly, so for those who love bacon, it’s an amazing fix. Crispy on the outside, juicy meat and fat inside. Our version comes pre-stuffed by our friends at Messinger Meats with top quality sausage meat that’s lactose, sugar and filler-free.
MethodPlace roast on baking tray in a pre-heated oven at 350 °F. Cook for one hour, rest for ten minutes and serve. Serve with a side of potato salad, steamed rapini and an Italian salsa verde of parsley, olive oil and anchovies. Another easy option is to cut up root vegetables in small cubes and cook alongside the pork. Keep the pieces small, no more than half an inch thick, so they cook in the hour it takes to finish this simple dish to perfection in the oven. |
